So we have recently been trying and testing new makeup brands here at The Nail & Lash Boutique and I think we have found a winner. The Mii makeup range have really surprised us with their vivid and bright palette of eye and lip colours and also their skin primers and foundations. I love how the foundations give such a nice smooth flawless finish without feeling too heavy on the skin.
One product that has really stood out to me has to be the Absolute Face Base. Sold as a foundation to rival Estee Lauder Double Wear without the difficulty to cleanse off or the heavy texture, I had high hopes for the Absolute Face Base. I’m a massive fan of the Estée Lauder Double Wear but have been looking for something that feels lighter but with the same flawless finish to wear during the day. So for me I have to say the Absolute Face Base is a winner, it feels very light on the skin but still gives great coverage and unlike the Double Wear, this foundation is buildable which I love, I can add more or less depending on how much coverage I want that day, I love how flexible it is. I also found it very easy to blend and felt it gave a very radiant velvet finish.
The shade I’m wearing below is Utterly Peachy. I loved this colour as it has a yellow undertone which cancels out any pink tones on the skin.
Overall I have to say I loved this foundation and I think with it’s buildable formula and velvet smooth finish this foundation will suit a lot of different skin types and ages.
I have also tried there BB cream and skin smoothing primer and I have also been very impressed with these products too. Mii is most definitely a brand Im looking forward to working with. I cannot wait to start using the Mii range on clients, I know you will love it as much as I do. We will also be stocking the range in the salon for you to try yourself.
